Dementia Caregivers Support Group
Join us from 10-11 am every 4th Wednesday of the month, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 357 Division St, Elgin, will be the host location of an Alzheimer's Association Caregiver Support Group. This support group includes supportive conversation and education. All caregivers of loved ones in the Elgin area who have various stages of dementia are welcome. It will be a time to get together with others to share practical information, coping with stress, and sharing feelings and experiences that come with caring for a loved one with dementia.

Feed My Starving Children
Monday, February 17, 2020. 2:30 – 4:30 pm. Age 5 and up are welcome to serve! Contact Deaconess Andrea to register!
Northern Illinois Mobile Food Pantry
Thursday February 27th from 2:30pm – 4pm. We need 4-5 volunteers to assist the needy in three areas:
1.Handing out Hot Chocolate and Coffee in the church hall at Holy Trinity for people in line waiting to go outside to the parking lot for their food. We don’t want a line outside waiting in the cold.
2. Handing out food from the food truck. 3 .Assisting the people in moving the food from the truck to their cars. Please bring a wagon if you have one.
Kid’s Hope begins soon for the 2019-2020
school year! Mentors meet with children once
a week at Lord’s Park School. Mentors are
also paired with a prayer partner who pray
for the child and mentor. If you are
interested in being a mentor or a prayer
partner, contact Jackie Kutina.
The After School ministry begins October 15th! People are needed to help tutor, serve snacks, and read to the children! It is a fun afternoon, contact Jackie Kutina to help!

A service oriented group open to adults 21 and over. They work at the Northern Illinois food bank and the Feeding Greater Elgin food pantry.

Funds and items are collected to send anywhere in the world where there has been a disaster.
Women of the ELCA
Women meet the first and fourth Tuesdays of every month to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief.
